The ALU Affire collection are designs from our Affire collection, where the natural rattan frame has been changed to an aluminum frame. The aluminum frame is hand bent using similar methods as when rattan is bent, and then powder coated. The frame is then woven with our ArtFibre which is available in a selected variation of colors. ArtFibre is an artificial fiber made of dyed and hardwearing polyethylene. It can withstand the suns burning UV-rays, heavy rain and even frost. ArtFibre is the material we use for the bindings and weaving of the seat and back of our Affire caf furniture pieces. The combination of powder coated aluminum and ArtFibre provides our furniture with strength and comfort, and furniture that can be used outdoor all year.
The Monique chair reminds us of the classic dinning chair in the most classic sense, only with a twist; the chair has the most beautiful AluRattan frame with a similar backrest.
